Daisuke Miyata

About Me

I am a researcher at Kureha Corporation interested in laboratory automation, reaction analysis, and robotics for chemical research.

My academic background is in pharmaceutical sciences. During my PhD at Tohoku University, I worked on automated spectral analysis of proteins and peptides. In industry, I have developed data-driven approaches for chemical reaction analysis and process optimization.

My current interest is expanding from analysis automation to laboratory automation, particularly for organic synthesis. I am interested in practical and low-cost automation systems that chemists actually want to use.
